Economicium Free tools for markets and money.

About Economicium

Economicium builds free tools for trading and everyday money: risk and position-sizing calculators, a net worth and retirement tracker, an economic calendar in ten languages, and dashboards for the public data that actually moves markets, from Treasury yields to CFTC positioning.

What makes the tools different

Every calculator publishes the exact formula it uses and works through a real example, so you can check the arithmetic instead of trusting a black box. Every data-backed tool names and links its source, favouring official statistics (the Fed, BLS, ECB, CFTC) wherever they exist, and shows when the data was last refreshed. Anything personal you type is computed in your browser and never sent to us or stored, with one opt-in exception: the trading journal's Google sign-in, which exists only to sync your own journal across your own devices if you turn it on.

Who runs it

Economicium is run by Joey van Diest, who is responsible for each tool's methodology and accuracy. Some drafting and research is assisted by AI, with a human reviewing anything that gets published; figures, formulas and data sources are checked against the original source before a tool goes live. Errors get fixed, so email [email protected] if you spot one.

Not financial advice

Everything here is for information and education only. Nothing on Economicium is financial, investment, or trading advice, and trading carries risk, including losing more than you put in. Always do your own research.
